ROSE ATTAR

Rose Attar is a natural perfume extracted from the petals of Rosa damascena or Rosa centifolia using traditional steam distillation methods. It is revered for its rich, sweet, and floral aroma, often called the “soul of the rose”.

Production Process

1. Fresh rose petals are harvested before sunrise and immediately taken to the distillery.
2. Petals are placed in a Deg (copper still) with water and sealed.
3. The Deg is gently heated, releasing rose-scented vapors.
4. Vapors pass through a bamboo pipe into the Bhapka, filled with sandalwood oil.
5. The sandalwood oil absorbs the rose essence slowly over multiple distillations.
6. This process is repeated daily with fresh petals for 10–15 days for a rich, concentrated attar.
