MOGRA ATTAR

Mogra Attar is a natural perfume extracted from Jasminum Sambac flowers, commonly known as Mogra or Arabian Jasmine. It’s known for its sweet, exotic, floral aroma and is highly prized in traditional perfumery and aromatherapy.

Production Process (Traditional Deg-Bhapka Method)

1. Flower Harvesting :
Mogra flowers are handpicked at dawn when their aroma is at its peak.
The flowers must be processed within the same day to preserve their fragrance.

2. Deg-Bhapka Setup :
Flowers are placed inside a copper deg (vessel) filled with water.
The vessel is sealed with natural clay and connected via a bamboo pipe to the Bhapka, which contains pure sandalwood oil.

3. Hydro-distillation :
The deg is slowly heated with a firewood furnace.
The fragrant steam travels to the Bhapka and gets absorbed into sandalwood oil.
This process may take 8–12 hours, depending on the batch size.

4. Aging / Maturation :
The attar is matured for weeks or months to deepen its scent and improve longevity.
